Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Blish Studio website, including the Start a Project and Contact enquiry forms.
By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and consistently with these Terms. Separate terms will apply to any project or service engagement agreed with Blish Studio.
2. About Blish Studio
Blish Studio operates as an independent creative technology studio.
References to “Blish Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to the Blish Studio website, brand, and services.
3. Website use
You may use the website to learn about Blish Studio, review selected work and services, read published content, and submit genuine project or contact enquiries.
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its administration systems;
- interfere with the website’s operation or security;
- submit malicious code, automated spam, or abusive content;
- misrepresent your identity or authority when making an enquiry; or
- use website content in a way that infringes intellectual-property or other rights.
You are responsible for the equipment, software, and internet connection you use to access the website.
4. Project enquiries
The Start a Project and Contact forms allow you to provide information about a possible project, requested service, or general enquiry.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is reasonably accurate and that you have authority to provide it.
Blish Studio may review an enquiry and decide whether to respond, request more information, provide a proposal, or decline the opportunity. Submission of an enquiry does not require Blish Studio to accept the proposed work.
You should not submit payment details, passwords, unnecessary sensitive information, malicious material, or confidential material that is not needed to evaluate the enquiry.
5. No contract created by submitting a form
Submitting a Start a Project or Contact form does not by itself create:
- a contract;
- an obligation for Blish Studio to accept work;
- a guaranteed quotation or price;
- a guaranteed response time;
- a project start date; or
- a reservation of availability.
Any actual project engagement must be agreed separately through an approved proposal, quotation, contract, statement of work, or equivalent written agreement.
No work is considered accepted or scheduled merely because an enquiry was received or discussed.
6. Proposals and project agreements
The scope, deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, fees, payment arrangements, revisions, approvals, intellectual-property terms, cancellation rights, support, and other project-specific conditions must be stated in the applicable written proposal or project agreement.
If a project agreement conflicts with these website Terms regarding that project, the project agreement should govern the project-specific matter.
These website Terms do not establish payment terms, cancellation rights, refund terms, warranty periods, or ownership-transfer rules for a client project. Those matters must be addressed in the separately agreed project documents.
7. Intellectual property
The Blish Studio website, brand presentation, original text, visual design, interface elements, and other original website materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights.
You may access the website for normal personal or business evaluation. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit protected website material without appropriate permission, except where applicable requirements permit it.
Client names, trademarks, logos, project materials, screenshots, and third-party assets remain the property of their respective owners where applicable. Their appearance on the website does not transfer ownership to Blish Studio.
Intellectual-property ownership and licensing for client deliverables must be addressed in the relevant project agreement. These website Terms do not create general ownership-transfer rules for project deliverables.
8. Client-supplied materials
If you provide materials or project information by link, through an enquiry, or during later project communication, you should have the right or permission to provide and use them for the relevant purpose.
The public forms do not currently accept file uploads. Do not provide unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unnecessary sensitive information through an enquiry or later project communication. You should consider whether confidential information is necessary before sharing it.
Providing materials or project information does not transfer ownership unless a later written project agreement expressly states otherwise.
9. Portfolio and Case Studies
Portfolio items and Case Studies are provided to illustrate selected work, capabilities, processes, or design approaches.
Past projects do not guarantee the same outcome for another project. Results depend on the project’s circumstances, scope, client decisions, implementation, market conditions, and other factors.
Any performance statement or project result should be understood only in the verified context in which it is presented. A portfolio example is not a promise that another project will achieve the same or a similar result.
Client and third-party names, branding, and materials displayed in a portfolio remain subject to their respective rights.
10. Third-party links and services
The website may link to client websites, project websites, social platforms, or other external services.
External websites and services are operated under their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability. Blish Studio does not control their content or operation merely because the website links to them.
A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of every statement, product, or practice of the external service. You should review the applicable terms and policies before using it.
11. Website availability
Reasonable efforts may be made to keep the website available, secure, and accurate. However, availability may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, technical failures, hosting issues, security measures, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Website content may be corrected, updated, moved, suspended, or removed when appropriate. Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Blish Studio may take reasonable action to protect the website, its users, and its administration systems from misuse or security threats.
12. Disclaimers
Website content is provided for general information about Blish Studio and its services. It is not a binding project proposal, quotation, technical specification, or professional legal, financial, or regulatory advice.
Although reasonable care may be taken when publishing content, you should confirm information that is important to a business or project decision through an appropriate written agreement or direct communication.
Descriptions of services are general and do not guarantee that every service, capability, schedule, or outcome will be available for every project.
13. Reasonable limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable requirements, responsibility relating to the website should be proportionate to the circumstances and to the direct, reasonably foreseeable effect of the relevant issue.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Blish Studio is not responsible for the independent content, security, availability, or conduct of third-party websites and services merely because the website links to them.
Project-specific responsibilities, remedies, and liability arrangements must be addressed separately in the applicable written project agreement.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the website, services, operating practices, or applicable requirements change.
The updated Terms will be published on this page. Continued use of the website after publication of an update will be subject to the version then in effect.
Changes to an existing signed project agreement require the process stated in that agreement and are not made merely by updating these website Terms.
