Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you use the Blish Studio website, submit a project enquiry, or send a message through the Contact form.
It applies to information submitted through the website and to the operational records created to review, respond to, and manage those enquiries.
2. About Blish Studio
Blish Studio operates as an independent creative technology studio.
For privacy-related questions or requests, contact privacy@blishstudio.com.
3. Information we collect
The information collected depends on the form you choose to submit and the information you voluntarily provide. It may include:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, when supplied;
- your company name, when supplied;
- the service you select;
- the project type, when supplied;
- the estimated budget category you select;
- the expected timeline you select;
- an existing website URL, when supplied;
- your project description or contact message; and
- confirmation that you agreed to the form’s privacy notice.
To operate and manage the enquiry system, the website may also record:
- whether the enquiry came from the Project or Contact form;
- the language used for the submission;
- the source page URL, with its query string and fragment removed;
- the internal status assigned to the Lead; and
- submission and update timestamps.
The current forms do not collect uploaded files, payment details, precise geolocation, or customer account passwords.
4. Project enquiries
When you submit the Start a Project form, we use the information you provide to understand the requested service, project type, approximate budget category, expected timeline, and other project requirements. Optional information such as a phone number, company name, or existing website URL is used only when you choose to provide it.
Project enquiries are stored as private internal Lead records. Access is restricted to authorized administrators responsible for reviewing and managing enquiries.
A project enquiry may be assigned an internal status such as new, contacted, qualified, closed, or spam. This status is used to organize the enquiry workflow and follow-up communication.
Submitting a project enquiry does not guarantee that Blish Studio will accept the work, provide a quotation, reserve availability, or begin a project. Any engagement must be agreed separately in writing.
5. Contact enquiries
When you submit the Contact form, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, optional company name, message, and privacy consent.
We use this information to understand and respond to your request and to maintain an internal record of the communication. Contact enquiries are stored as private Lead records and are available only to authorized administrators responsible for handling them.
Submitting a Contact form does not enrol you in a marketing newsletter. No newsletter or marketing-consent system is currently implemented.
6. How we use information
We use submitted information to:
- respond to project enquiries and contact requests;
- understand the services or assistance being requested;
- evaluate whether Blish Studio can assist with a project;
- communicate about possible next steps;
- manage follow-up communication;
- maintain internal enquiry records;
- protect the forms from spam, automated submissions, and abuse; and
- maintain the security and operation of the website and enquiry system.
Blish Studio does not sell submitted enquiry information to advertisers. The current website does not use enquiry information for behavioral advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
7. Spam and security protection
The website uses technical measures intended to reduce spam and abuse. These include form validation, security tokens, a hidden anti-spam field, minimum submission-time checks, and temporary rate limiting.
For rate limiting, the system may temporarily use a pseudonymous salted identifier derived from request information. The custom Blish Studio Lead system does not store the raw IP address in the private Lead record.
Temporary anti-spam and form-result information expires after a limited period. It is used to protect the forms and is not intended for advertising or profiling.
8. Cookies and tracking
We do not currently use custom analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, or advertising cookies on this website.
The multilingual functionality may use a language-related cookie to remember or support language selection. This is not an advertising cookie.
WordPress, the final hosting infrastructure, security tools, or other approved operational services may use cookies or similar technical storage where necessary for administration, security, or essential website operation.
If analytics, advertising technology, or additional tracking is introduced later, this Policy should be reviewed and updated before or alongside that deployment.
9. Service providers
Website hosting, email delivery, security, and WordPress-related service providers may process information where necessary to operate the website, deliver enquiry notifications, protect the service, or provide technical support.
Such providers should receive only the information reasonably required for their role and should handle it according to their applicable agreements and responsibilities.
Depending on the final production infrastructure, a provider may process information in locations determined by its services. Any relevant international-processing arrangements should be reviewed against the final provider configuration and applicable requirements.
Blish Studio does not provide submitted enquiry information to advertisers for sale or behavioral advertising.
10. Data retention
Normal project and contact enquiries that do not become part of an active contractual or business relationship are retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication.
After that period, the enquiry record should be deleted or anonymized unless there is a justified contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or legal reason requiring longer retention.
Information connected to an actual customer contract or legally required business record may be retained for longer where reasonably required for contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations. This Policy does not state a fixed destruction period for those records.
The current system does not automatically delete Lead records. The approved retention policy must therefore be carried out through an appropriate operational review and deletion process.
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from protected backups where temporary backup retention is necessary for security and recovery. Access to retained backup information should remain restricted.
11. Data security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect submitted information. Current measures include:
- private Lead records;
- restricted administrator access;
- input validation and sanitization;
- anti-spam and rate-limit controls; and
- access controls.
No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Safeguards should be reviewed in relation to the deployed hosting, email, security, and operational configuration.
12. Requests regarding personal information
You may contact Blish Studio to:
- ask what information is held about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information;
- ask questions about how submitted information is used; or
- raise a privacy concern.
Requests will be reviewed subject to applicable legal obligations and legitimate contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, fraud-prevention, and record-keeping requirements. This means that some information may need to be retained even after a deletion request.
To make a request, email privacy@blishstudio.com. Please provide enough information to identify the relevant enquiry. Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify the request and protect personal information from unauthorized disclosure.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when website functionality, operational practices, service providers, or applicable requirements change.
The current version of the Policy will be made available on this page.
